Noteflight is seeking a full-stack web developer to join our team and collaboratively design, build, and test amazing software for musicians.
Responsibilities:
- Implement high-quality, high-performance software
- Define, write, and implement testing requirements for software features
- Troubleshoot and resolve problems with software applications
- Collaborate with a team of software engineers to produce the best solutions possible.
- Collaborate on the design and specifications of new features
Preferred Qualifications:
- College degree (B.S.) in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related discipline, or equivalent experience
- 3+ years experience in full stack Ruby on Rails application development with React/Redux front end, web service integration and AWS deployment.
- Experience with modern JavaScript (ES6), Knockout, SVG/Canvas, WebAudio, and mobile development a plus
- 3+ years experience working both independently and as part of a team; ability to coach, participate in code reviews, share skills and methods.
- Music performance and/or composition experience
- Understanding of and enthusiasm for the music industry product space
